Pigeon Poop:Shovel is in the Shed

That is all the pigeon poop I have to share at this time. Consider yourself lucky. I have put that shovel away, until futher notice. Mark is still in ICU and is being monitered. He still has his wits about him, though he cannot talk much more than a whisper. He is alternated between breathing on his own accord for a couple of hours, to breathing with the bi-pap machine. He is hanging in there. My friend's hubby was transferred to a rehab facility for therapy purposes. He is doing pretty good.

I had a job interview Wednesday morning. I felt confident with the process and I feel I would be a good fit with the agency. It is called the Area Agency on Aging, which was one of my partners during my career. I applied for the position;Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. That would suit me fine as I could handle running the front desk and being support for the 12 case managers. I would not have to deal with the details of client situations, or worry about caregivers' schedules. However, it is a hub for the same type of industry, one I know well. The boss will be making a decision soon, as the current gal holding this position, is leaving end of July. I have my fingers crossed for this job, less than eight miles from my home. However, I am not keeping all of my eggs in one basket. I have continued to apply for other jobs.

Is anyone else experiencing problems with your blog and it's formation of paragraphs, spell check, typing issues?

Whoo Hoo on putting that shovel away. Good luck on that job, it does sound like a good fit, without the stress.

The only blogger problems I'm having is occasional spell checker not working and lots of spam, ugh.

The Observation Deck

 I just finished rereading some posts from my favorite blog authors; bill, kden, grumpy and hub. I enjoy them very much. I was glad to read that bill attended a speaking gig with his son, and I was enchanted by his post of speaking to medical students with Ann. I can see him sitting there, in front of those 14, wanna be doctors, talking with wise words in a gentle, yet direct fashion. I can see him being honest and descriptive, when sharing the challenges and fears of catching that next breath. Yet, he doesn't allow himself the credit he deserves for painting those pictures with words. He is a better author than he realizes. Pane of Pain

He's back! The x is in the area. He landed at the Portland airport a couple of nights ago, closer to "her" than Seattle. Guess he left his truck and camper in AZ to fly back to our little area for the holidays. Crap! In viewing his calendar, he only has one booking in Eastern WA in mid January. Nothing else booked at this time other than his webinars which he presents while sitting on his butt in his camper. So lord knows how long he'll be around. I am concerned we may cross paths at some point as my friend (and his) invited me to a "Box Lunch" the day after Christmas.
